The Punjab Workers Social Security Institution (PESSI) is an independent body under the executive control of the Labor & Human Resource Department under the Punjab Government Rules of Business, 1974 established through the Provincial Workers Social Security Ordinance, 1965. Provision of health installations to the workers and their dependents is covered under the Provincial Social Security Laws. The Provincial Workers Social Security Ordinance, 1965 requires the employers to contribute 6 of the stipends of their workers (having stipend up to Rs/-) to the Punjab Workers.

Minimum Education Required:
- B.Sc. (Bio-Medical Engineering OR Bio-Medical Engineering Technology) from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR BS (Bio-Medical Engineering) from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR B.Sc. Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission.
Experience:
Two years’ experience in relevant field of Medical Equipment.
Age Policy:
- Age Required for male minimum 22 years and maximum 32 years old but not more than 42 years old.
- As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I st (S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21 May 2012 and Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD)9-2/2022 the dated 26 January 2022.
- Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.
SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION:
One paper MCQS written test of total Marks 100 and total time duration only 90 minutes.
The syllabus for written test is following: –
a) Question related to Qualification (80%)
i) B.Sc./BS (Bio Medical Engineering (40%)
Bio Medical Engineering Technology
ii) B.Sc. Electronics/Electrical (40%)
- General Knowledge including (20%)
- Pakistan Studies
- Current Affairs
- Geography
