As per Composition of Association, FDB is being governed by 15 Board of Directors. Presently, FDB is working under the executive control of Ministry of National Food Security & Research.

Selection will be made on discipline wise merit and by considering the province-wise share for each post, still, distribution of posts may vary as per Council conditions of staff in different disciplines/ areas.

General Terms and Conditions of Appointment.
- The contract movables are purely temporary in nature, non-transferable, maximum job/ post specific, appointment will be for the design period.
- General age relaxation will be permissible as per rules of the Government of Pakistan.
- The seeker formerly in Government service may apply through proper channel and produce NOC at the time of interview.
- Age, qualification and experience will be counted from the last date of the announcement.
- For posts of Sr. No 1-3, Aspirants interested to apply for further than one post are advised to submit separate operation forms and deposit slips for each post.
- Only eligible short-listed campaigners will be called for written test interview after the complete scrutiny of operation forms.
- Deficient operations or operation submitted with fake documents will be rejected at any stage of the reclamation process.
